About Dr Andrew Lewis
I have an excellent academic record and over 25 years’ professional research experience in academia, the civil service and business. I am used to working at speed to tight deadlines, without sacrificing accuracy and quality.
During my career at the Historical Manuscripts Commission (1995–2002), I learnt about the organisational principles which underpin archival collections, and forged lasting professional relationships with archivists at the following institutions:

- The British Library of Political and Economic Science
- The Parliamentary Archives
- The Bishopsgate Institute
- Tower Hamlets Local History Library and Archives
- Queen Mary University of London Library
- The National Gallery Archive
- The Churchill Archives Centre
I am an Associate Member of the Association of Genealogists & Researchers in Archives (AGRA) and a Professional Member of the Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading (CIEP)
